Husband and wife team, Jessica Franz-Christensen and Scott Christensen created Jessica Scott Ltd., in order to provide a stylish option for Eco-conscious moms-to-be. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002, co-owner/designer Jessica Franz-Christensen became aware of the number and proliferation of environmental toxins negatively impacting her health. When she couldn't find non-toxic (and chic) clothing, she decided to develop her own clothing line. In addition to creating a product that is environmentally and socially responsible, they also feel that it is important to give back to organizations that share their values. Hence, they are donating 2.5% of their net profits to the Children's Health Environmental Coalition (CHEC) in order to support their work to create a safer world for our children.
